UPDATE- SOLVED: I am strongly fighting the urge to delete this post as I am a bit embarrassed. But I am only leaving it in the event someone else makes the same mistake.
I just got a new laser kit. It is a 4 mode 445nm 3-3.5W with a copper heat sink. It came with both 1 and 3 element lenses (currently equipped with the 1 element.) It also came with ultrafire 18650 5000mAh batteries which I fully charged on the included smart charger. (Yes I have already ordered some upgraded batteries). I removed the guts of the MS 900 flashlight, installed the laser module, and inserted the batteries as shown in the included diagram. Please tell me what I might be missing!
Thanks!
Here is what came in the kit:
This is the MX 900 Host
I removed the guts from the host:
Then I took the module:
And I dropped it in here:
I put the batteries in as described in the included drawing:
Assembled, it looks like this:
and NOTHING!
I had all these plans of sharing some mesmerizing pictures with you.
EDIT:
I did find this piece but don't know what it is. Maybe it provides the last little bit of distance to make this baby connect and work?!
