Hmm good to know, I figured that there were other methods to get a pulsed beam, aside from putting a fan in front of it ;P
But in the actual Dazzlers the Military uses, are they using 'said varried voltage circuts, or Q-switches, and for the actual purpose that most needing a pulsed beam(for whatever the technical purposes) would they use 'said varrabled-voltage circuts' or a Q-switched pulse ?
& has anyone bought one of those ajustable focus 5mW greens and or if so, is a mod easily performed or had it been ever attempted to replace its guts with a more powerful mW level laser ? cons-pros-opinions-if'so

It's easy to have a laser with TTL modulation. Our lab lasers have TTL modulation up to 30kHz, and even our portable Hercules has TTL modulation up to 200Hz.

And BTW, Laserglow does sell an adjustable focus 5mW pointer, it's called the Lyra-F and it's only $69.

...But for the love of god don't shine it into people's EYES! Sheesh.

Yes Laserglow and a few others sell 5mWs with ajustable focus... but has anyone bought one and either disected it and or tried to Mod a more powerful laser into the construct... if so, did it work well, or are there other things to get around such as the crystal array/train of the higher powered laser, that will or does not work with the ajustable focus of said 5mW ajustables ? :-?

Want a rubber coating? Get a can of plasti-dip.

It's very easy to modify a DX pointer putting the guts in a waterproof housing found at scuba houses. If you want funky patterns get a dollar store pointer with those pattern diffusors and paint a silly heart on an eel. But don't be surprised if he bites you back! ;D

Don't waste time or money on this stuff especially the spyder.

Anyone rip one open to see if it even has a TEC in it?
