Don't think so... not too sure if you can power that motor for a long time with a batt. (and LEDs!).

But well.. IDK, maybe they do use batts..

The earth is always orbiting around the sun so if you travel forward or backwards through time, the earth wouldn't be in the same spot ever. Moving exactly ONE year wouldn't work either because the entire Solar system is moving through space.

The board has a optical sensor that resets at every revolution and calculates the speed me thinks. You can see it in the third vid Niko posted, two black upstanding rectangles facing each other.

it's a gadget that displays letters when shaked in the air. Handheld, with two CR2032 batteries and some other cheap components. I can provide PCB artworks and all that stuff. And i'm gonna translate when i have time.


I attach the sourcecode, it's one of my first PIC proyects and you'll see that it's not very optimized... but works.

I remember we had one of those at school, you had to move it with your hand so you could view the text... then somebody made a motorized version of it




Buying list (prices in euros, to convert use google )

-1 PIC16F628A (2,40-5[ch8364])
-18 pin socket (0,20[ch8364])
-7 high luminosity 5mm LEDs (preferably blue or green so you don't need to use resistors) (0,20-0,70[ch8364] each)
-2 battery holders (sorry, translated it as I could..) for button cells CR2032 (0,30 each plus the coin cell batts. at 0,50-2[ch8364] each)
-1 1K ohm resistor
-1 mini permanent switch
-1 piece of PCB
