Not sure where to put this info so I'll put it here and it can be moved if needed. Perhaps the B/S/T section?
I just purchased a laser from one of the members here and had to use PayPal. I don't have an account with them and didn't want to create one. Using the method below you can pay with your credit/debit card and PayPal only processes the transaction without having to use a PayPal account. Note this only from the buyer's perspective, the seller *does* need to have an account.
- you have the seller's PayPal ID, e.g., laserseller@xyz.com
- in your browser, put the following in the address/URL input: http://paypal.com/xclick/business=
- then append the seller's PayPal ID
- the full URL would then be http://paypal.com/xclick/business=laserseller@xyz.com
- hit Enter and you will then be presented with instructions on how to pay using PayPal OR credit/debit card
- at some point there is a choice for the transaction to be for "Goods/Services" or "Gift"; since my seller specified to use "Goods/Services" that's what I did; you might need to check with your seller to know what applies in your situation
Hope this helps!
