I here in Australia bought from an Australian seller some advertised 1mw lasers.. they arrived saying <5mw and still throw a beam.... $7

To be honest, for $30 shipped (minimum) i would be expecting about 80mW. Unfortunately i would say that it would be about 20-30mW.. You would be better off buying off a member here. I just got a 532nm 100mW(measured) for $50 shipped.

But, if you can get it for the $30 shipped.. And it was 30mW+ it wouldn't be a "bad" buy.
