^nah, the processor in the OP is the ceramic package with ceramic chip cover I mentioned. Here's a pic of the back of the older type with the gold-plated cover:

Oh, pitty.. Mine is the ceramic one as well. In fact I'd never seen this golden one before and I dont think I'd have the guts to cut it if I had :/
