Thats all i know about them. Wavelengh is 593.5nM
Rigel 299$ others is much more.

Only for collections.
Thats yellow. Orange is 635nm. And is not that expensive. But you'll have to build one your self. They come in 5.6mm cans though.
Ever see 593.5nm in real life? Looks orange. 635nm? looks red. Compare 635nm to 660nm and you can see its definitely more orange tinted, but if you were to pull random people off the street and show them 593.5nm and 635nm lasers, I'd bet good money a vast majority would deem them orange and red respectively.
Your right. And I have. But we only have three colors; 593.5nm, 635nm, and 660nm. We know which ones red. And one of the other ones has to be yellow.

Well when I get my 593nm laser I'll let everyone know what it looks like to me - yellow, orange or something in between.

...Did you just call me a Hoe?

Anyway.

If you look in this photo below, you'll see the difference between 593.5nm and 635nm. And 660nm (red) is the one all the way to the right.

593.5nm can be done two ways. You can buy one (2-3mW $299)/ make one (like me) 10-15mW.
Or you can combine a 660nm laser with a 532nm laser, using a red/green dichro. And can be purchased here...

You can also purchase a 635nm 5.6mm laser diode at 10mW for around $30

Thats my pic. (Don't get me wrong, I'm flattered you used it! :D ) I just wanted to point out though, that in alot of my pics, the 635 came out alot more orange than it really is.

This pic captures the color of the 594 and 635 lasers PERFECTLY.

As the pic shows, they are orange and yellow. No one I've shown them to has said otherwise. :)

What I can recommend is to wait buying blue/yellow/orange until they are higher power and alot cheaper.

Blues will get better eventually, yes.  But what is going to make orange/yellow any cheaper anytime in the near future?  There aren't any market forces pushing for yellow or orange for any application other than hobbyists, and hobbyists aren't going to change the price of anything by themselves.
right, ramen spectroscopy and the like won't exactely enable huge mass production, and the big price fall we need for these to be used in pointers. but is it true, I hear the blue diode technology can be adapted to lase at many wavelengths, including red, orange, and even green. imagine a tunable diode based pointer! you would probably have the RGB diodes and a mixer (not a liquid xtal quantum well)

As long as I can have a 578ish nm yellow I'm happy. Green laser bright, but yellow? Hell yeah! According to Sam's Laser Faqs, 578nm is ever so slightly brighter than 532!

Wouldn't they be the same brightness, since both wavelengths are equally away from 555nm, the most sensitive wavelength to our eyes?

The difference is insignificant enough as to not matter, but yellow is a tiny, itty bitty bit brighter, mw for mw. According to the 1988 C.I.E. Photopic Luminous Efficiency Function, 578nm scores 88.9% visibility, where as 532nm scores 88.5% visibility (% of brightness compared to 555nm yellow/green photopic vision denoted as 100%). Incredibly insignificant yes, but they yellow is brighter.
