This is no crappy DX pointer that will fail the second you take it out of the box. I've tested it and it works fine. It's been used for <1 hour and I've had it stored away for the past year unused.

Unfortunately I lost it somewhere. It didn't tell much other than the 30mw box being checked anyway. I can assure you that this laser does work decently and should be up to spec though.
