optics in rayfoss 660nm 200mw

i'm a noob at optics and i've bought this rayfoss www.rayfoss.com. does the whole lens assembly screw out so i may remove the waterproof lens (it looks coated). can i upgrade this assembly to get higher thruput? the unit focuses well now and i can pop balloons (sharpied) at 20 measured feet, but if there's more power there i want it.

i don't know specifically about that laser, but if your water proof window is ar coated for 650nm then it lets about 99% of the laser light through. if it is not ar coated i think it lets like 90-95% through. is it a yellowish tint at an angle?

yes it is greenish-yellow and "looks" like it is o-ringed into the front of the focusing end-cap. prolly leave it alone.

ok, it sounds to be ar coated. So you probably won't get any significant power increase by removing it.
