Optical Illusions

About to show my nerdiness here, but anybody ever play guitar hero and get way too focused on playing the song? After the song is over, your eyes have had time to compensate for the endless notes flying towards you at a constant rate, and have zeroed that motion as motionless. So afterwards, everything you look at looks like it's morphing upwards :crackup:

I used to play Doom so much that when I went to bed all I could see was moving hallways.

Those kinds of effects fall more under the area of hallucinations, rather than optical illusions

In that department, I have on occasion dreamt that I was the main character from a book that I'm reading.

It never happened with games, and only a couple of times with movies. I guess books have more of an effect on me.
