OPT Lasers Cylindric lenses - NUBM44 beam correction tests

Mateusz say to me the 6x lenses need a brass assembly with larger space between the 2 lens (than 2x/3x). I wait for it.
I want to put the brass cylindrical lens assembly inside à 3D printed tube, the tube attached on my NUBM44 laser.

Also I have two binoculars lens, one extracted from small binoculars and one big extracted from astronomical binoculars.
I want to print beam expanders to attach on this NUBM44 portable laser:D
The suggested distance between the 3X vs the 6X lens set is only 2mm, The suggested distance between the 3X is 25mm and the suggested distance between the 6X is 27mm but the 2X is the same as the 3X at 25mm......

Just FYI the input lens in a beam expander is different then most all lenses found in binoculars, The input lens in a BE is a plano concave like this.....

Yes I know, this is normal. I don't use input lens. I use only the large output lens perfect for beam expander.

We don't need input lens, just unfocus the G2/G7 to cover all the output lens:D I get perfect colimated very tiny line with this method and minimum loss.

About the slow axis correction of a LD, I never tested prisms & never tested cylindrical.
I think I need the plano concave on expander input like you say to use cylindrical correction (else beam is too large); and I think my expander method work for prisms correction.
 
You can always just put a 3X BE on a NUBM44 with a 3E primary and have some fun, it's pretty easy, also be careful with bino optics, you could burn the coating, I have burned some coatings myself.

Yes I already burned the coating from bino, very easy with the focal point. To avoid this, just distribute power on all lens surface and no problem.

It is a doublet of two lenses glued with a "paste" known to opticians. This "glue" is way easier to burn than coating with a focal dot! Especially with a 405nm 800mW laser.
With bluray we can make tiny hole on the reflective coating of any mirror (tested) !!!
 
Does anyone know if these are the same pair as the ones in the last group buy? They look different to me and i was wondering if these might be worth having in addition to the ones i have.
 
The LSP 6X pair are 12mm tall but the concave is 6mm wide and the convex is 10mm wide, the curved surfaces should be the same, however the OPT lenses are also thicker, also the OPT have a low loss coating as do the LSP, I don't remember the numbers.

The OPT are 12x12x7

The pics are LSP, it's like the business parts are there without the extra glass, but one pair could be ground better so testing will show.

I believe this is the first time OPT has offered a 6X cyl pair ?
