Open cans on ebay (not harvests)

Search for a seller named fhqwhgads! (Yes the exclamation is part of his name )

He appears to be selling brand new open cans and he has pics of shiny ones in their trays. Unfortunately they are $55 a piece. But still, if this guy can get open cans then.....

-  So That's what they are called.. Open can Diodes..  haha And I tought mine were defective and weren't going to work..  after an order or 30!! yes thats right 30 Sony-20X dvd burners for 10 bucks each! ..  Pretty easy to harvest..   I just tested one in an aixis module and works wonders with a LM317 based V regulator and 5v psu.    

 Now that I know they are the best kind , I wonder what can I do with the other 29 I got in there just staring at me..

 -  Oh that's a secret!      , truth is I know a big dealer , he sells me the RMA ones that he gets for whatever defect they might have,  (some don't even have one  : , guess is just people don't know how to use them) anyway.. that's how I get them for as 'bad' Burners  , how you like that!   ;D

700mA What do you want to do, fry the defenseless diode? lol ;D 420mA is enough to give you an output close to 300mW when using a glass lens.
