what pins are what on the open can diodes polarity wise? or are they the same as the close can diodes. The diodes I have is from a sata dvd burner, i don't know what speed it is.
also what diode out of the two is the burner?

Open can reds have the same polarity as close can reds.

We can't tell without knowing what speed it is. :'( Just to be safe, I would probably drive it as an 18x.
