I was trying to organize a GB for their single mode 450 nm
pens, when they sent me a sample unit, it was only
the bare diode...

This is pretty sad, all O-like has done this year is mess things up.... I think anyone interested in purchasing a laser from them should look elsewhere.

Well I mean ya.... But I'm still happy with my laser. Idk, I like the hosts on o-like better than lazerer

How did you receive it? Was it in a paper envelope marked flashlight with pretty much no padding?

Well at least yours works abean95
I'm still waiting for them to make it right with me on my non working laser I got from them. You should let them know. At least they should owe ya a few bucks.

I bought a 5mW 635nm pen from them a few months ago. Never showed. I asked them about it, and said it was at the post office. Post office had nothing. They said it must have been sent back and they'll send a new one when they get the first one. Still nothing several months later.

It was only $10 so I'm not gonna fight it. But I'm not buying from them again. :scowl:

O-like used to be very good. Seems like they have a lot of negative feedback coming in now.

I really liked them before, but I think I will be staying away now.

They did have a lot going for them, and I think their products are for the most part decent.

Problem is they just can't seem to get the service part of customer service right.

Yeah, I haven't ordered from them in a while but they used to have good quality stuff.

I believe they actually make their lasers and are the manufacturer that those other china laser sites (laserlands, rayfoss, etc.) get most their stuff from. If you email "Susie" you can get hosts, modules or whatever other parts that they use in their lasers. Well you could, I don't know if you still can now.

ya hahaha

I'm just happy that they at least sent me a good quality laser

Susie tried playing dumb with me.... Like she didnt know we agreed to a refund, even though its all right there in the email.

ya hahaha

Ya, but for all you know it's life could be shortened from being smacked around during delivery. A wire could be loose now and you may not know it yet.

. Ya that's a possibility. I would rather go along with the idea that the laser is perfectly fine though hahaha. I'm pretty sure that next time I am ordering from lazerer

Of the true budget laser vendors, lazerer is by far the best.

If you can afford it though, there is no beating the quality of jetlasers, laserglow, or optotronics.
