I noticed this set of 2 dichroic filters on o-like's website, only $29 for the pair. Anyone know if these are a quality product? I can't find them for anywhere near this price on other sites.

RGB combining system

I'm planning to start building my scanner with these, getting the optics together first.

They should do the trick for a cheap build, but remember good quality optics are crucial when you want max power from your lasers and good beam quality.

looks interesting, may try it for a yellow laser. wont be true yellow though :(

I got these a while ago, they seem to combine colours quite nicely, maybe 5% is reflected with the green, about 1-2% with the red (on the red-green dichro). I would suggest these, they seem to do the job and don't fail the quality test. Sorry for the non-descriptive reply, but I would buy this If I were you. ( if you want functional and cheap dichros).

AAlasers

Thanks AAlasers, I think I will grab a set and I'll write a bit more of a review when they arrive. However, not having a LPM it's hard to accurately assess these things. I can discuss the beam fidelity after passing through the dichros and estimate the losses; I'll do my best.

I am now ordering the O-like dichros , I will let you all folks know how they perform in about two weeks when I recieve them (I hope).
