O-Like 405nm 500mw laser help

Here as it says on the back just follow the diagram.;)

The 12V input is where the power adapter's power should flow into but you may want to add a switch somewhere in your project box between them.

You will also need a 2.5V-5V signal to turn on the unit @ the modulation input. If you are going for on full power all the time you can use a 5V regulator and drop the 12V input to it.

 Thank you for the response, but I still do not understand what i need to do/buy.

Well firstly you are trying to build a labby style laser not a pointer right?

I think he just wants to turn it on.
I would look at the diagram on the AC adapter and plug the red lead onto the positive from the AC adapter and the black lead to the negative.
If it doesn't turn on, you may need to add power to the blue and white TTL leads.
I hope you have safety glasses.

I bought two 405nm phi-803t laser diodes from o-like off eBay and I've been scammed. The first sleds diode was static damaged because it didn't come in an anti-static bag. The second one came with only two pins!!!! The third one was the case pin so it was useless.:tired:

Um. Doesn't sound like o-like's MO. Are you sure it was really them? Why not just get the diodes from their website?
You probably want to contact them and get a refund or replacement. What email contact do you have for them from the eBay listing?
