Hi ,
Just sharing this build with all of you folks, here is a full copper heat sink and focus adapter i incorporated a battery tube extension so it will take two 18650's instead of two 18350's. The G ball is still intact and the SXD is set to 4A with 24gauge silicone wire through out the connections. I also took the lens out of a barrel of a spare i had so i could use the focus adapter to finish off the sink and keep the G ball clean of dust and dirt.Well hope you will enjoy the show folks.

Rich:)

Nice build, Rich! With all that heavy copper, you can also strengthen your wrist muscles while using your laser. ;)

Hi BT,
It does weigh in but feels great with all the sinking gotta love copper , its great for the bigger 9mm diodes thanks buddy for checking it out awesome

Rich:)

Nice 05 build, that's a powerhouse 5.3 watts. That will lite your hair on fire. Bet you'll get some nice run times with that copper sink, nicely done . :gj:

Hi BM,
Yes its a real burner and the sinking is awesome on runtime but i really don't run any of my builds very long anyway. I tested the Gball out on my bench and it did set it on fire with in 5 seconds, The copper sink puts some heft to it but its all good buddy.

Hi, just an update with fully charged 18650's quite a jump in output, the first pic is wth a lower charge on the cells, and the second is at full charge
Rich:)

So the 05 has a good beam out of the gball? I thought it was like the 07. Are you keeping the gball intact?

Edit: what's the inside of the bezel look like? I ask because I might like a P nP like this but use a Blackbuck 8A driver. You know where I'm going with this

Hi D,
There is tons of room inside you can fit 2 VW's and a Fiat in there. Yes the Gball is still on the diode , i took an old lens and just used the barrel so i could still use the focus adapter to make it look great and not to leave the Gball hanging out looking like a cyclops

Very nice.
I am thinking about some GBall builds, a quad build would look pretty sweet built like a 4 barrel pistol and maybe some singles with large home made expanders.

Good looking build.

hi Red,
I always liked the G ball diodes A quad would be awesome and a lot of work but worth it.
Thank you for the compliment buddy always welcome

Rich:)
