Hi, everyone. I'm quite new to the boards, as well as high-powered laser scenary.
I'm interesting in obtaining a green laser pen, or even a small flashlight-style, with output of at least 125mW on average. (The higher the better.) I also need to mention that I'm on a budget here, so I can't really go over the $500 mark.
Reading through this board, I've narrowed my choices down to NOVAlasers and Dragon Lasers, which are both tempting from most of the member feedbacks in here.
At the moment I'm looking at the Aurora GP 175mW (Because the 200mW one is $200 more for a mere difference of 25mW, which I do not think is worth that amount of money. Of course, if the store would knock the price down to $500 level, then I'll grab it in a heartbeat.) and the X175. (Because Dragon Laser doesn't have any laser pen that cranks out 200mW.)
I would appreciate it if members with experience in purchasing and using the products from both stores would drop their opinions in here. Aside from the minor price differences, I really can't see the differences between the two products that the stores offer.
Thanks in advance, and happy Valentine's Day!
