Does this laser have the burning power associated with a laser rated at 500mw? I don't know anything about the AAA power supply and it's ratio to output power.

This doesn't use an AAA power supply.

And my apologies, but this laser isn't meant to be used for burning.

It's focusable so would you not be able to focus it to a narrow point concentrated enough so that it will burn?

It's not meant for burning, no, sorry.

It's multi mode. It never really focuses into a point anyway.
