Hey guys,

Just a quick question, i am ordering a laser and paying via paypal. So i payed the ammount of money in Euro's. Three days after payment i receivd a mail from the seller saying that he didn't receive any money yet?

So i checked in at paypal and the payment said: (Not recovered) Or that the payment has not been claimed yet?

Next thing i did was google the thing and it said that the email does not exist or that the seller has no funds in this kind of currency? But the seller clearly stated to pay in euro's and to this specific email adres..

Anybody has a clue? Any experience would help alot:wave:

I bought so many things via paypal but i have never seen this issue :p

Thanks in advance!

Greetings,,

Haha omg I love your dp is that your actual cat? xD

Anyway, unclaimed payments usually happens with foreign currencies, and with email addresses not linked to Paypal accounts. My guess is the seller has not linked that email address to his Paypal account.

Pretty straight forward. Seller screwed up.

The email address he gave is not linked to a paypal account.

IIRC you can transfer the money back to your pp account, and then back into your account.

Ok thanks for the replies!

Kinda weird since this is a pretty known paypal.. But yeah could it be that te paypal adress is put in quarantine or black list or something? Or am i talking shit here lol

Greetings,,

I used to do that to people all the time from typing too fast.

gmial.com instead of gmail.com.

It's possible there is a dispute against the account and the guy can't accept funds... Idk if that's the case though, just guessing.

i think you should contact the seller first and ask him/her, why they havent claimed your payment and at the same time ask them if they gave you the right email account. if the mistake was made, you can ask for the correct address. you can claim your money back from paypal and send it to the correct email address.

thanks for the suggestions everyone! allthough there is still no explanation why this pp adress didn't i cancelled the payment and payed via another alternative which worked!

Now my next quetions remains :p How long does paypal take to refund me my money to my bank? cause now the double amount has been retrieved from my bank..

Would it be 6 days or something?

greetings,,

it also depends, if seller try to dispute etc, then PP will review each case and could take longer. but if its a case of mistake, then it is very quick 3 days or so (speaking from my own exp)
