How is it more powerful? :thinking:

His regular single mode lasers are 1.2W. His 5-mode are ~900mw on high.

I think he means more powerful than my other 5-mode laser I offer. But yeah a lot of people wanted more power out of the 5-mode so I have complied and offered it here in a larger host that can handle the extra power.

So my laser from yobresal arrived yesterday, 1 week or 5 business days since he shipped it to me. Very fast shipping indeed from California to Sweden, and swedish customs usually hold packages for a day. Impressed!

The laser is just awesome: more powerful than I could imagine. For pointing around indoors it is actually too poweful to use, it is a MUST to always wear goggles when setting focus or doing burning. Outdoor during the night it really comes alive, truly spectacular. Can't wait for a foggy night

How that customer some pages back acted I just cannot understand... yobresal is great to deal with and if you want a good 445nm laser, then this is it.

I use it as a laser pointer when I'm tracing out a line or equipment with contractors or talking over where to re-route when taking working on equipment.

Ill say. I've actually refused to build a custom 445 for someone who wanted to use it for just that same purpose (well, close; he was a building site inspector)...

its only dangerous up close. The beam doesn't stay in any one place long enough to ignite any leak. The pipeways are too far away...

I don't think anyone was worried about igniting gas leaks.... I don't even think that's possible without igniting something else, which would ignite the gas...

I was concerned for your eyes and the eyes of the people you were directing. That's quite a bit of power for a pointer.
