Night Vision Laser Question

look up what your unit uses for the onboard illuminator, either 808nm or 940nm i think.

@ Fiddy The results I saw with you running through all 5 modes with your 1.7W 808nm narrow beam laser & a Gen1+ (?) Night Vision viewer with 1x magnification (?) were very interesting. Thanks.
Can you or anyone else with hands on experience recommend a good set of protective glasses wear with 808nm lasers rated under 350mW ???? Peripheral vision needs to be either filtered of blocked & they need to let as much visible light thru as possible , I really can't work using glasses that block out 50% of visible light.

I am currently at a standstill with my 808nm laser work due to not having any protective eyewear. I have all the hardware I need to start experimenting but I refuse to
power it up until I have a the correct eye protection that will not need an outdoor 1.5KW Quartz Halide Light to light up my work area.

i have this pair from OEM lasers: https://oemlasersystems.com/product...55-810-980-1064/ml1-808-980-1064nm-yag-detail

they seem to have changed a lil bit as mine where 36% VLT where these are now 45%.

They work great, high quality glasses.
