Newport power meter

Sorry if this seems lazy, but im out of town and on my cell. I can get a free newport powee meter model 1815c. But it doesnt have the metering head. Are those expensive, and what else would I need to have a fully functional lpm.

You will need the Head... We bought a new old stock one
for our Newport 1825C LPM for ~$300.00.

You may also need to get it calibrated to your meter...

I don't think that Head will work... I believe the Newport 1815C
like our 1825C needs a Head without an integral calibration Amplifier...

Sometimes a good deal on a head shows up on eBay...

Heh, that PDF just told me just about everything I need to know to build an equivalent model myself..
