Hey guys!

I'm Alphonsus Dokuro and I just joined this forum recently. Currently, I own a 5mW and 10mW green laser pointer, is there any simple way to modify and make them more powerful? A

Also, do check out my YouTube chanel at Alphonsus Dokuro - YouTube

Thanks! Do give me suggestions and advice! :D

P.S
My 10mW pointer is faulty, dunno why but theres only a small red dot inside the opening each time I pressed the button. :(

Hello Alphonsus Dokuro, welcome to LPF :)

You can't modify your laser unless it has a pot, even then you would still risk killing your laser, I wouldn't recommend it. The labels on your lasers say 5mW and 10mW however they're probably more than that. When you get goggles, try your laser in front of some electrical tape or a match, if they burn this may give you a rough estimate of their power.

BTW, I enjoyed your videos :)

Hi laser bee thanks for that welcome! Anyway, I see that you are out to warn people about wicked lasers, a company which is infamous about its lasers and problems. Well my friend is planning to buy a 5mW wicked laser for around $35 bucks. I've tried to advice him but he persists in buying it. Hence, I will like to ask 2 questions:

1) Is a 5mW for that price reasonable? :/
2) Since its only 5mW, does it still gives the same problems as the krypton and spyders?

Thanks :)

you can get that laser for cheeper and it may actually be over 5mw,,also from what i hear most people have problems with the more expensive ones but not sure..
loosing 35 is not like loosing 300 tho ..
