I find it odd that they didn't wait for the new version to be tested before going on with the GB. Maybe they know the results won't be good?

Still deciding if I should take the chances...

I went ahead and bought one. It wasn't a horrible charger to begin with so hopefully it can only become better.

I got mine today -- No GB or discount.
I've been charging and testing everything
from 10440 cells up to 26650!!!!
Now I'm going to sort all my old cells.
This is great once you learn the button
sequence.

just wondering how they compare.

Mine came in last night via DHL and it blows my I4 charger away. It does testing where it fully chargers the battery then dischargers it measuring it's capacity and then fully charges it again.

You can choose to monitor charging voltage, current, time.

I am extremely happy

Thanks for the heads up. :>) You know now I may have to get one my self if I keep hearing
glowing reviews like this. Is the GB still in effect???

I ended up ordering one as well.

Edit: I really want to know if it works well for LiFePO4 with the inner switch. If it does I'll drill a hole on the box and use it for both chemistries.

I guess BLF people don't care about those. They even tested the higher voltage variety (which worked fine) but I still haven't read a single word about LiFePO4.

Maybe someone here has the tools and is willing to do the testing.

there is a new version 2.1 out that gearbest is doing a sale on. Look in the op for details
 
I found that yesterday and have 2 on order :) I already have a v2 from the previous GB. It's a great charger with a lot of useful features. For the money I don't know how you would beat it. But I'm hoping v2.1 is even better :)

Thanks for the update on the new version 2.1,:beer: I held off on the last G.B., but not this time!
I just ordered one, the discount code worked just fine.
Hopefully all the revisions will work as advertised, and there won't be any loss of the existing quality found in the 1st version.
