Anyone purchased these lasers in Australia and have gotten them through Customs? Did you do 1 Package or 2... (front end and back in separate posts?)

That definitely is the safest method. It costs an extra few bucks though. I haven't yet had any problems getting things to Australia though to my knowledge. Most people do opt to do the two-parcel option.

Swim has a batch with him right now, Hes planning to ship on monday due to time constraints with swimming, If you already paid they should ship monday.

Just checked in on this thread since about 5 days ago.

I know swimminsurfer256 is swimming/or has swam in a conference by now, so I hope the luck I send him telepathicly gets to him! :)

I have no problem waiting...everyone here seems to have paitence, and I am no exception.

We will get them soon enough...

Yea, i know he has a batch, but i wanted to know if he had the overspec ones of at least 30mW.

From what he has said most of His lases are overspec around 30mw but its more or less a grab bag, there is no guarantee on output on this set of lasers.







hey swim, are you still testing outputs before shipping, If so could I ask that my two lasers be tested?

His grab bag says 25-60mW so some could be lower than 30. I think ill pass and wait.

K, got some good news or bad news.. depending on how you look at it.

The lasers in this batch look to be a lot more sporadic than in previous batches. My supplier sent me a "new model" and I'm not sure if I like this more or less than previous batches.

Nine lasers were tested (with unknown-charge/age batteries so that may have skewed the data but maybe not):
1: Peak - 75mW. After 30 seconds - 32mW.
2: Peak - 49mW. After 30 seconds - 41mW.
3: Peak - 26mW. After 30 seconds - 22mW.
4: Peak - 34mW. After 30 seconds - 28mW.
5: Peak - 18mW. After 30 seconds - 15mW.
6: Peak - 55mW. After 30 seconds - 48mW.
7: Peak - 19mW. After 30 seconds - 15mW.
8: Peak - 39mW. After 30 seconds - 29mW.
9: Peak - 59mW. After 30 seconds - 31mW.

So, they are still all overspec and it definitely is a major grab-bag for this round.

Next round I think I'll go back to the original models unless you guys protest!

I'll start the shipping :)

These results dont look too good for me. I think ill stick to buying the Super Beast and other Beast Variants. Even though they're more expensive, i like their designs. Good luck with selling! These are a great deal!
