Yup, a blank host would be better than this... i suppose you would need to rig your own driver anyways to get more power reliably.

Its lame, i prefer the violet one from olike! Nowadays everyone has a dilda or two....

You can build a bluray from it yourself if you want to... as long as you can get 3.6 volt cells there is enough to work with using the right driver.

I created a thread some time ago where I stated that DX should provide blank hosts, they didn't listen to me

Niko, i think the way to go is to try to get them to sell 5mW versions for Us customers.

That could work, but I doubt the 5mW version exist since it wouldn't need the big host or the lens
