All - sorry to do this, but I am extending the deadline by two days, since my brain is still not screwed on all the way from being in the hospital for so long - let's end this in two more days - Deadline for submissions is midnight on Friday the 13th of November, 2009 CST. Winners will be announced by 9pm CST on the 14th - I was WAY out of the loop for too long last week / this week so I am the one to blame for the extended timeline, sorry.
This is an appeal to anyone even remotely gifted artistically - I need a new banner ! Animated would be cool - I do NOT want a "rip off" banner...you know, someone elses' copyrighted pictures, etc - nothing obscene, not too huge (about same size as my current one at StoneTek Electronics ) and obviously with a "lasery" theme
Dunno what I could offer to the one I pick - but I am certain I could come up with something ! So - please post suggestions here, if you would - my current banner REALLY needs updating ! Thanks in advance to any who try to help out, flash, gif, jpg, whatever - just cool looking ! Color does not matter - if it clashes with my existing background colors on my site, I'll have to change them I'll update this post with whatever prize I come up with..
(This post is the direct result of me having seen the CNI competition thread - there were some damned nice pieces of art in there !)
Okay, I will accept entries until November 11th, at midnight CST. On November 12th, I will announce the winner(s) <---WILL be more than one !
Top prize will be : $100.00 gift certificate for my shop, plus a Kryton Groove KIT (includes all the little widgets and whatnot it comes with....groove driver parts, little rubber dealios, etc) with your choice of PHR sled, or a Sony SLD1239JL-54, plus a RCKSTR test load kit
Second prize will be determined
Other prizes to be determined ! I think (reserve the right to select minimum of two banners, possibly three)
