New 445nm Laser

Just got this 2w 445nm the other day, like the hosts ability for extra lenses to be added ontop of the main focusing lense.

Overall not bad. I have another one of these hosts I want to turn into a green laser if possible.

I love that shot you took of the beam at night! To me, it looks more like 473nm then 445nm

yeah it lights up the entire room at night. It may be 450nm but not 473

You cant tell but the inside of the front is threaded for lenses to be put in which I love

Just bought it from a friend brand new basically workin on my first build turning another host like that into green I hope

One thing is I don't believe It has a heatsink the aluminum diode screws directly into the host body and lenses over that or is the diode set n the aluminum as a heatsink

Is it a WL? The host looks a lot like the WL Arctic but I know there are other, very similar hosts and I must admit I didn't see any WL logos on there. Can't decide whether I love or hate the host style.
