Hey guys, man it's been a while for me sur have missed this place.
no matter how much i tried to stay away from lasers, some part in me feels "incomplete" without a laser. i'm seeing too many foggy nights and not owning a laser quiet simply hurts.
i'm really far behind interms of whats new out there and would like an update on the whole 405nm scene (if someone don't mind) i'd be very grateful. last time around, i bought a 200mw PHR which was great.
nowadays there's 6x and even 8x with glass lenses which seem to boost the mW's.
i think i'm about to buy a bluray but just need to know what options are available.

The 8X's are available and the 12X's are just coming online. The 8X's are tentatively putting out >400mW with the 405-G-1 low loss lenses. We have no idea about the 12X's yet

IgorT has a dozen 8X's to be graphed and he will test two to death to learn the limits.

There is still some question as to whether the 12X is a new diode or the same one that is in the 8X. I have graphed one 12X. It tested at the upper limit of the 8X's tested so far. Hopefully we will know a bit more after IgorT's tests and when we get a couple of more 12X's graphed.
