Need Info 505nm & 520nm !

I purchased this laser Sep 15, 2019 and everytime i turn it on i can't figure out is this a 520nm or 505nm

If you have a known 505nm or 520nm you can compare them side by side. Absent a good spectrometer, that is what I would do. A 505nm will look more teal colored next to a 520nm or a 532nm laser.

Because of the pronounced rectangular artifact in your photos, it looks more like the Sharp 505nm diode to me.

It does appear to be 505. Back when I had a 520, that color and 532 were almost indistinguishable apart from having the camera pick them apart. If you can easily tell it isn't 532 then it more than likely is 505. Then again, everyone's eyes are different but I wouldn't assume it would matter that much in such a big wavelength gap.

I agree, think it looks more like 505nm in your two beamshot photos, and a bit more green in the dot photos.
Here is a pic of three of mine, with the 503nm being as close to 505nm as I have.

505nm will have a lot more blue in it but will still be an obvious shade of green. 520 nm looks like a pure green or traffic light green for some.
Edit: I’ve taken pictures of 520nm before on cameras and they don’t usually struggle to depict that shade of green so I’m definitely leaning towards close to 505nm. Tip for you, I find this with my 520 and 493nm. Sometimes intense bright spots knock your colour perception off slightly, but instead shine it at a corner and look at the illumination it causes. This is how I see the difference between 520 and 532nm more easily. Also my 493 will look greener under spot conditions yet way more cyan when illuminating an object. Our eyes are not perfect spectrometers. Another neat trick is when you observe different wavelengths. I can make my 493 look light blue with no green if I observe a higher wavelength laser ( green, yellow red etc) for a period of time. And then switch to 493, also works in reverse too with shorter wavelengths.

Its confirmed its a 505nm i got confused i was using a 532nm and 488nm & 505nm & ( 445nm 5mW ) and i got this one and i turned it on and it looks exactly as the build i did 505nm only this one is much brighter so i placed it next to a 520nm and the 520nm was almost like 532nm then i used a 532nm & 520nm i build and the 532nm was brighter this 505nm is only 2X brighter then my build

Alien, glad you got it straightened out, now don't forget to identify it with it's proper wavelength.
