Hi there. I ordered laser host from techhood(ebay) who is a good seller as i read from other threads
but i want your opinion about this 200mw module because i consider to buy it. Thanks in advance. :yh:

Thanks for the advice. I am sure this one(dealextreme) is not at 200mw cause of its price. I messaged the seller from ebay and i told him that i will request a refund or a replace if this module is not at 200mw(including warming up some seconds and 10% max tolerance) cause i will measure its output power and answered that he noted well and it's okay. So i think he will post a "true" 200mw module.

JSYK that most definitely will not put out 200mW. It'll more likely be between 110mW-130mW. Unfortunately you'll probably be requested to send it back for a refund. And the person will ask for pictures from a credible LPM. But hey, at ~$40, anything over 100mW is a pretty decent deal.

One more question. Do i need something else except this laser host(250938581834) and this module(260541750065) in order to have a fully functional laser?

Battery, charger, and very important, a goggles for this laser.

lol. :P I mean if i don't have a focusable lense (which is not included in this host) and only these items(previous post) is the laser fully functional?Even if i couldn't focus... Thanks in advance.

Lol, ok.

In the module description says glasses lens, but does not say if is a collimation lens, otherwise the divergence will be very large.

Perhaps the simplest way is to ask the seller.

The one that I have is the same power, but come without collimating lenses, is not the same module.

Or someone who has this module, anyone?

I managed to learn that the host does not include collimation lens but i ordered this item which includes it and i told him to install the collimation lens with epoxy at the frame in order to be ready for me to install it at the host. Maybe i found the solution to my problem. :)
