Need a little help for first green laser pick

No way you're going to get that power for that price. Just not happening. 800mW of 532 are at best a few hundred to several hundred dollars. For 99 buck you could get a bit over 100mw maybe 150mw if you search a bit. Sflasers has 100mw for 50$. Dragon laser has pretty much 1$ per mw. Up to 300 for $300. Laserbtb has a bit cheaper prices I would check them out.

sflaser's seems good but almost all products are sold out. other sites are expensive for me cuz i have a serious custom problem :(, is there any option ? and what is the strongest mw i can buy for a 99$ ?

The most mw for your money will not be green. It will be 445nm blue. I've seen up to 1000mw for $100 plus shipping. And what do you mean custom problem. Oh budget I see. Well Sf lasers will have new stock I am few days according to the owner

Oxlasers? Under spec, not properly heatsinked and serious scam. Why would you want harmful laser?

mean with harmfull laser poping some baloon, burning cigarette easyly kinda harmfull , dont worry :)

In all honesty, $99 isn't going to get you any other color then Blue/Red.

Most companies are over $99...

You can always try "SellLasers.com"

I have 2 lasers from them, they are somewhat over-spec but they're prices are incredibly cheap.

Sometimes you have to go custom (AKA building your own), as it can be a cheap option but not recommended for everyone though. I had to roll my own, and man, 520nm is real special! It have instantly become my favorite laser.

Yes, but 520 is not cheap at all, plus it isn't NEARLY the highest power you can get for the price...

So like balloon popping, match lighting, PERMENENTALLY BLINDING Harmful? Please use laser glasses for whatever you end up getting. Safety is needed.

Crazyspaz - true, hence I went with custom laser as it's much cheaper, which may be true for the DPSS module too. How cheaper it can be can only go as far as the complexity and cost of the DPSS module - I would not be surprised if 1 watt DPSS module costs $400 though.

And $130 1 watt laser pointer? Ain't buying into that since I wouldn't know what type of growth process used to produce the particular KTP crystal. (Wet grown KTP certainly can't stand 700mW IR laser, which the hole-burn occur. Hot grown one do better.) And I am willing to bet on the black stallion that the "1 watt output" would come from the leftover IR light, but then I do strongly doubt even IR and green light altogether would come near that output at this price.

???

Hehe, a 500mW 532nm laser has a 5W 808nm pump diode, a green laser easily outputs over 1W in IR(if high enough powers) :crackup::crackup:

Point taken. Well, what if the Chinese assemblers do not bother with angle adjustment of KTP? That would spell trouble.
