I am rather inexperienced when it comes to lasers but completely know the risks involved when you get into the energy levels I'm talking about.

So I would like to know what it would take to etch designs into stone, i.e. river rocks. Is the a task that could be accomplished with either the Magma-980 3W or the Luna series 2W? (Both on warnlasers)
Or are we taking double or triple digit power levels?
Any info anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Well damn so much for that get rich quick scheme. So I will apologize for this thread because I read a few others on here and realized much of my post reeked of ignorance and laziness, probably explains why I have a spyder arctic, but anywho that's not important. I think I may spend an almost unreasonable amount of time on this site, looks to have quite a bit of useful knowledge.

Don't worry about that S3 I'm rather partial to mine, as to power no wAy would any battery powered one even discolor a rock, have to be 3:digits laser at least and that's only a guess as what might come close , the heat dissapation would be huge, the power would be sapped away before it could do anything to the rock, but nice idea

On the subject of animal remains, I know of this really good vet, he only works with chickens though, and mumbles about "mega ultra chicken" I don't know, good guy though. I got a little patch I usually bury roadkill in, its looks like someone keeps digging up the bodies though, never find human prints though, only animal leading away from the hole... weird but thanks for all the info guys.

Hmm this is an interesting development indeed... Billy keeps freaking out when I ask about ultra mega chicken too...
