From the formulas I've found it seems I'd need an OD rating of 4-5 at 808nm, but finding goggles that good seems pretty difficult - I saw an OD 3+ 808nm and 5+ 1064nm set of goggles on ebay for $70, but that may not be enough.

Really not a good idea to screw around with possibly undersized goggles when dealing with this much output power :-/

In any case, if anyone knows a place to get very high OD goggles for 808nm let me know.

OD5 at least. It shouldn't really matter if you go higher, because it's practically invisible. :p

I'm not really sure where you could find any, though. The most I could find was OD3, which would make 50W 50mW.
