Need 808nm protection for 40-60 watts

From the formulas I've found it seems I'd need an OD rating of 4-5 at 808nm, but finding goggles that good seems pretty difficult - I saw an OD 3+ 808nm and 5+ 1064nm set of goggles on ebay for $70, but that may not be enough.

Really not a good idea to screw around with possibly undersized goggles when dealing with this much output power :-/

In any case, if anyone knows a place to get very high OD goggles for 808nm let me know.

You can also use the LPF discount there.

OD5 at least. It shouldn't really matter if you go higher, because it's practically invisible.

I'm not really sure where you could find any, though. The most I could find was OD3, which would make 50W 50mW.

I havent played with anything over 5watts, so im not sure if this helps.. But these are the same as mine and are OD-4
