Nice, isnt there a heat problem with it though? The whole thing is made from plastic right? and theres now a powerful red in there...

I was thinking of doing something similar, just with a cheap 5mW green.

the diode is rated at 130mw CW im running it at 100mw CW.

i dont leave it on for long periods, like 10-15mins at a time and it seems fine
