Has anyone tried making a miniature actual spatial filter for these handhelds. Not just a mask but an actual two lens and pinhole setup? I have trouble with anything less than 100mm FL so it would be a real feat if you can do it.

Spatial filters needn't have two lenses. It's is just that some use microscope objectives that some do. A single focusing lens with an adjustable pinhole in three dimensions has worked for me in the past.
