Some of yall may remember about 2 weeks ago I posted a video of my argon scanning with some sh!tty micro step motors well today I finally got the new scanners installed and working. The scanners are nothing great (12k) but they work good enough for beamshows.

Here are some pics of the build and a video at the bottom. There are some things that i still need to do but for the most part this is finished. You would have to see for yourself how small the enclosure is that I managed to get all the electronics into. The enclosure was originally meant to just hold a shutter for the laser.

In the last pic, are those a bunch of penies (change) glued to the bottom ?

You got me,lol. It looks like CRAP, but works. I needed to raise the scanner block so I made a platform of 2 dimes, 1 nickle, and JB Weld in each corner. :D It's 100% level and works as a heatsink :)
