I wanted a small, light weight laser so I built this.

Parts:
-Sinner Tri EDC Ti host
-520nm Osram PLP520-B1
-X-Boost T-Mini 450ma
-Custom heat sink build by PaulorNuthn
-Battery contact board
-AW 18350 IMR battery 800mAh

Here are the pictures.

I filled the threads with Ceramique 2 thermal compound and put the copper piece inside of the host. (Hopefully helps a little with heat dissipation:huh:)

Then I assembled the diode module, driver and battery contact board into the heat sink, and put together the host.

Here is the finished laser.

Thanks to PaulorNuthn for selling me the host with heat sink and Sinner for making it, DTR for the diode, Flaminpyro for the driver and Lazeerer for explaining me a lot of stuff about driver heat sinking.
Hope you guys like it!!!

Very nice looking EDC build; big brother isn't too bad looking either!

Thank you BowtieGuy!! The little one is nice but when you turn the big brother on..... that's another story.

That's a good looking little build.
There's something appealing about a compact little unit that you can take anywhere in a shirt pocket.

That's the main reason I build it. The other hosts I have are to heavy to carry around (EDC). This one is not the smallest or lightest but I think is a good size. Thank you very much.

very nice , my most used laser is the 18350 445nm i built with angelos first gen boost drivers..

Very pretty host with the cool grooves. Would love to get some of these one day.

Very, Very nice indeed !!

The 520nm Osram PLP520-B1 is a beautiful diode !!!

The beam output only needs a collimation lens....nothing else....and it is perfect !!!

I really like the three (3) GITD grooves !!!

A perfect, compact, great beam EDC !!!!!
Thanx for sharing...I think I will add this to my " List " of ToDo Builds !!!:beer:

The more I look at your pic....the more I am sure I will build an exact duplicate !

This diode truly needs NO extra BS....no correction....nothing...as it is just perfect....just outta the can....with a G2 lens !!!

I experimented with this diode......and did a small build....but....I really like your host and GITD rings !!!

Yikes....SOoooo many builds....SOoooo little time !!!:drool::drool::drool:

Awesome build my friend

Thank you noobphaser215!!!

I think I'm going to get the brass and copper host too. I also want to change the heat sink to copper.

OK...Got the beautiful Sinner Tri EDC host....Titanium is a great material....especially for an EDC !!! Very difficult to scratch....and lite weight!!!
This host is a work of art !! Sinner is a master machinist !!! This will make a perfect EDC !

Where to get the GITD rings Mr.JRC ?? I like the ones you used !!

Anyway....the only way to improve this build would be to morph it into a Combiner !!!

Hahahaha...JK !! The 520 line...is just fine !!!
