My first NUBM44 build

Re: My first NUBM44 build.. need advice!

I have updated the OP to reflect the choices I have made thanks to the tips and discussion from you guys. I appreciate the information about the VC2 also; I don't really know if I could charge 1 cell at a time; I could at first but definitely have to get the VC4 soon.

5.5A!? That would be nuttyyyy!

hi,
I have the VC4 charger and the two bays on the outside will take the 32650's . And as for the SXD i was stating that 5.5A was the top of the range . If your going to run your44 run it at 4.5 or 5A max, i would do the 4.5A on the safe side for longer life of the diode

Yeah 4.5A will be output more than enough power through a NUBM44. Gonna get some orders made this Friday and next friday from ABarnett and then gotta source the thermal paste and few other things left.

So the heatsink from jayrob should be in any day, and the 32650 batteries have arrived. I just gotta get the diode/module and driver.

Going for a SXD at 4.5A and not sure if buYing bare diode or module from DTR depends if my supplier replies.

NUBM44 WHERE ARE YOU?!

Oh, and here is a picture of me charging a new Feilong 32650 with an 18650 next to it. It will not charge 2x 32650 but it will charge a 32650 and an 18650 so that works also.
