9V is plenty, 9V square batteries just can't provide much current.

Was what I meant--not enough battery current drain for the purpose--current-wise. Nobody uses 9V square batteries with lasers.

Thanks guys i will try to get 2x 3,7v batteries . Now im searching for proper housing and battery case . Ill keep updating the project .

Most people use 18650 batteries. However 16340, and 18350 will also work depending on the amount of space available.
