9V is plenty, 9V square batteries just can't provide much current.

Was what I meant--not enough battery current drain for the purpose--current-wise. Nobody uses 9V square batteries with lasers.

Thanks guys i will try to get 2x 3,7v batteries . Now im searching for proper housing and battery case . Ill keep updating the project .

Look at my first post .

You are going to need a heat sink if you want to leave it on for any length of time. The little AixiZ module will overheat quickly

Most people use 18650 batteries. However 16340, and 18350 will also work depending on the amount of space available.
