my first laser green
It looks like the stars, very beautiful.
I don't take a photo, this photo is the one I find online, the effect of light looks like mine.

Cool laser. Be careful and have fun. How much did it cost?

Hi Alexe,

I got such a laser from ebay for £4.98 (6.29 €) - it is fun to have all the patterns (diffraction caps).

Be careful as the power could be anything; even 50mW! So watch your eyes.
Also don't use for a long time; maybe less than 30 seconds - otherwise it could get damaged.

[PS why is this in the 445nm forum? 445nm is blue not green!]

I've never noticed the 445nm is bleu before.

I moved this thread. Deleted the other. No need for two.

I visited the website in your image and I strongly recommend not using them again!

Examples of badness:
* On your laser it says "La meilleure température de fonctionnement: 0-35℃" -- there is no way your DPSS 532nm laser will work at 0℃!
* They say they sell a 10W 532nm laser for 216.99 €. Impossible.

Im not 100% positive on this so someone please correct me if im wrong.
I do believe some DPSS lasers actually work better in the cold, while others work better in hotter temperatures!

Edit: I will throw in some personal experience with my 532nm Anser. It works fine no matter what the temperature! I tried it one day when it was 30 Degrees +, and another day when it was just above freezing & both times it worked perfectly :)

Interesting - I stand corrected :-)

This has my spam senses tingling, but there are no links so IDK.

I find that my 532 doesn't work below 15 or so degrees, need to let it warm up to get any 532 output if its cold, but when it comes out of my warm pocket the output is insane. Too bad I don't have an lpm.

Mine work at 0°C, but poorly; very low output. They really don't like that sort of cold at all, which makes them poor general-carry lasers during winter.

I had a 532nm that was dim when it was warm but brightened up like crazy the moment it got cold. Since I didn't care about it too much I left it in the freezer for a minute and voila, incredibly bright.
