A little back story,
I had a 80mW 532nm(green) laser back in 09 and ended up losing it at a party, thankfully it needed a key to operate, otherwise someone could have hurt themselves.
Jump back to now, saw some awesome new stuff in the laser scene here, and bit the bullet. Things are much cheaper comparatively to then.
Ehgemus is a beast with a lathe and I had him make me something adequate for this diode.

Takes 2 18650 3000mAh batteries
It has a clicky switch at the tail that acts as a safety by disconnecting the negative end of the battery. It is operated by the momentary button on the side.

Has a 1" diameter Copper inner heatsinking for maximum heat dissipation. This diode gets HOT

I have these for when it's not being pointed in the sky.

This diode is running at 3.5a of pure 465nm awesome.

fknRAIDEN, you first need to re-size your photos so we can see them, 800 is max width you should use.
 
Which site are you using, if it's Photobucket, just be sure to hit save after re-sizing. If you're using something else, maybe someone else can give you more help.

You're right, Ehgemus can perform some magic on his lathe; I've got a couple of his hosts that I need to build yet.
Those are some good looking beam shots, I like that last pic with the motion in it!

I have a pair of glasses a lot like those, mine look greenish grey and you can see BLUE when using a blue laser with them on and they are not sufficient.

I see your numbers are a little different and yours look a bit amber?

If you can see any blue color with them on you should not trust them.
A lot of glasses are rated at the center of those numbers not the extremes.

These work well for blue lasers.

Eagle Pair® 190-540nm Standard Laser Safety Goggles

The pair I have are a lot like yours and they are Eagle Pair but they are no good for blue lasers.
I think yours may are different and may be ok, but if you can see any blue light with them on then I would not use them.
At first glance I wasn't sure but if yours are the other kind they should be OD+5
Just a friendly warning that if you can see any blue they are not safe. :beer:

Ok cool, I just got these and they have great visibility and block all blue, that other pair I have are for 405 I think.

Nice build, great Cu & Al host love it Almost like what Sinner produces with a pressed in Cu core. Awesome sinking for any high power dye we have today. I wish he would make more of this type of host with the Cu core And a side latching button that illuminates.
What is the diameter the sink on this , Whats the Micro read??

i think its a 1.5". I dont have a meter, but I guess someone local has one, so I'll probably try to use their soon, once I get another module for yet another ehgermus host I have.
