Re: My Firts Build 1W - 405nm Violet Laser

Everybody has to start somewhere, glad your first build went well. Beam shots, always are a crowd pleaser. :)

(Not the word police, but you might want to fix the word "first" in you title?) Oops

Is the front of the host 3D printed?

Nice first build, you won't go wrong dealing with Jordan!
No matter how many lasers you build, you'll always remember your first one. :yh:

Yes, beam shots are required. :D

Interesting first build. On what are you basing the 1 watt specs on this laser? Have you measured its output? Some beam shots would be nice.

Quadruple post, jeez, impressive.

Multiple posts in a row are frowned upon here, use the multiquote button if you need to respond to several people at once. Otherwise use the edit button to update your previous response.

If you need help with that at all feel free to ask.

Very nice work! :gj:

Yes, Jordan is the best--you can rely 100% on his advice and laser components

Has been a long road for you to travel to get to this finished build.

Congratulations on completion of 1st real laser.

Enjoy it --make sure to protect eyes with proper safety glasses--1W of 405nm is a very strong and dangerous laser---be careful.

Oh yeah, forgot I hadn't replied yet. Congrats on your first build! :)

Encap is right, 1W of 405nm is serious business, make sure to have proper safety glasses and a decent beam stop. Don't want to be burning holes in surfaces all over your home!

Thanks !!!!! very nice ,certainly glasses always ! yeah , I think that the diode on the blue/purple is the one of the burner bluray. if you look at it with the naked eye you can see him ,then the view starts to let you see more and more intense (and it is there that ruin the retina)
