My first 445 build, 18650 *sized* ~400mw

As soon as my first 445 diode came in the post, I put it straight into my "old" PHR laser. Its about the same size as an 18650 cell so "pocket rocket" is a pretty good description at 680ma. Gets warm in 30 seconds though. I'm still waiting for some parts for my larger hosts which I will run at the full 1.5a, if the flexdrives are happy.

This one is passing my laser time until then..

RC helis and lasers: my 2 favorite things.
I just bought a Blade CP Pro 2.

Also, turn the flexdrive upside down and put some thermal grease on the bottom so that it's heatsinked. The side which produces the most heat is the side opposite of the potentiometer side.

The flex seems ok, I will be turning the current down and putting a red diode in.

And it takes a cr123, its 70mm long.

I was thinking about trying out helis. I fly homemade airplanes right now.

I make em outta depron and reuse electronics/servos.
