so to cut a long story short the projectors only come out twice a year, the UK meets. due to family and work i dont fire up the projectors like i used to and i havent done shows for a long time now.
it seems silly to have this expensive kit sitting round doing nothing. the plan is to sell them and build a small RGB and i can use in the house and take to meets etc...
all projector cases are rock solid and very well build, all the cases were built by the same place.
ok first the smallest -
outside measurements are 250mm L x 195mm W x 110mm H
inside is two 445nm diodes running at a watt each, combined through a cube and corrected via prism pair
the scanners are 20k scanners
everything is mounted on a 10mm thick ally base plate and the projector is fan cooled (with dust filter)
although there isnt one there i machined the projector aperture to take a 2inch square AR 3mm thick glass windows from edmund optics
the case is sealed using rubber draft excluder

i would accept £450 for this projector
next the middle sized projector measureing 300mm L x 330mm W x 230mm H
inside is a 1000mw 532nm cni green although when metered a few years back it was doing 1.2watts.
D40 scanners although old ones, which have been modded by bill at pangolin
both lower and upper ally base plates are 12mm thick so nice and stable and good for heat sinking
there are no flex mounts in this projector, the mounts are RGB style mounts so very stable
as you can see plently of room for red and blue, its fully set up for additional colours as that was always my aim. on the lower deck are a 5v 8amp psu and 12v 8amp psu, which feeds into that connector at the rear of the green module. as you can see from the screw holes this used to have a 445 in it. there is also a laserwave 445 dichro already install in front of the green.
all holes in the base plates were done on my mill so nice and tidy.
the projector is sealed with a 3mm thick AR glass window from edmund optics and draft excluder round the case. all fans have dust filters on them.
also comes with this projector is a wind up stand and a 30m ILDA cable. stand goes up to 3m in height. the arm for the stand is not bolted to the projector in the photos incase your wondering
the projector has custom machined fan guards on it, long storey dont ask
asking £1200 for this
next is the biggest projector measuring 340mm L x 330mm W x 250mm H
inside is a 1000mw 532nm cni green although when metered at the meet it was doing 1.2watts. this module has very few hours on it, its done no shows only 2x uk meets.
D30 scanners from rob, again done no shows only 2x uk meets
