hi team
every now and then i get emails about people saying they sent a PM that was never received by the other person even though it goes in your sent folder
i have a theory on why this happens b/c i dont see any data integrity issues in mysql
scenario
1) user is writing a PM typing text in the box
2) c0ldshadow puts forum in maintenance mode to do a backup
3) user clicks send buttom for the PM while forum went in maintenance in the background w/out them knowing
so: at 8PM PST sharp tonight im doing a backup
if u help test this it would be greatly appreciated
1) have a PM opened in a new tab of LPF (make me the user that receives the PM)
2) one u see the forum is in maintenance mode send the PM, see if u get an error, document it /etc..
3) email me atarasov @ hushmail dawt com saying that u attempted to do this (since i might not receive the PM)
thx to anyone for help test
best regards
