Merry Christmas to all my friends up North.
Hope y'all have an awesome day.
Hope it's not too cold for ya.
We had our Christmas lunch and dinner yesterday with family.
Turkey, Roast Pork and all the trimmings.
The day before (24th) was a blistering 40°C (104°F).
Christmas day was 22°C (72°F), almost 20° difference, LOL.
No snow unfortunately.... still waiting Pete,

Cheers everyone.
RB

Unfortunately it snowed most of the day here and driving has been lousy; I'm just getting back home from the in-laws and the thermometer in the car says 4°F or (-15.5C), too cold for me, I'm ready for summer already, and winter just started!

It's been unusually cold here too. Not quite that cold, but much colder than usual. It has snowed here at least four times and I've seen winters here that never got snow. I'm hoping this doesn't carry on through January. I have a feeling we will be getting used to extreme weather from now on.

I'm with you.... I've already had a snootful
of winter... For the next 6 days it's going to
be around -20 deg C and -25 deg C at night.
I'm not going anywhere but to the shop.

Hi,
Its 22 degrees here in the east and windy .

When it's windy here as well as cold, my old house leaks heat like a sieve. This place has 12 foot ceilings and large windows. I doubt it was well insulated when built. Brrrr!

They have wood burning bans here in Western Washington. Can't burn wood unless you don't mind paying a huge fine.

That has been my answer so far. That, and blankets at night. I have a gas furnace, but keep the thermostat down around 65 degrees. I still have snow on my car from last night and it got up to 38 degrees today.
